CPES Innovation Powers VT Patent Rank

Virginia Tech ranks 4th among university Patent Powerhouses for 2024, according to a recent IEEE Spectrum article.
This prestigious ranking reflects the number and influence of U.S. patents generated by VT researchers.
At CPES, we're proud to help drive this innovation leadership - in just the last three years, our researchers have secured 23 patents advancing the frontiers of power electronics.
