Congratulations He Song, PhD!

He Song joined Tesla as an Senior Power Electronics Engineer after concluding his studies at CPES.
His dissertation titled, “Electromagnetic Interference and Compatibility within SiC-based Medium Voltage Converters”, explores electromagnetic interference (EMI) challenges due to the fast switching capability of silicon carbide (SiC) devices. Dushan Boroyevich served as research advisor.
In addition to research, He regularly lent his substantial photographic talents to our center, capturing indelible images from myriad CPES events.
He shared his thoughts about his time as a student at CPES. “My PhD journey at CPES has been a truly life-changing experience. I am deeply grateful for the opportunities, support, guidance, and encouragement I have received throughout this journey. I would like to express my sincere appreciation to my advisor, Dr. Dushan Boroyevich, whose invaluable research insights, rigorous academic attitude, rich experience, and forward-looking vision have profoundly shaped both my research and personal growth. I am also thankful to the CPES faculty, staff, and peers for their support and friendship, which I will always cherish.”
