Congratulating CPES graduate - Dongbin Hou

Dongbin Hou completed his Ph.D. program in March 2017. His dissertation, "Very High Frequency Integrated POL for CPUs" and defense presentation are now available online to CPES Principal Plus, Principal and Associate members via password access.

Dongbin received his B.S. degree in electrical and control engineering from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, in 2007, and the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from Texas Tech University, Lubbock, TX, USA, in 2011. He received his second Ph.D. degree at the Center for Power Electronics Systems (CPES), Virginia Tech. His research interests include high-frequency magnetic components, high-frequency power conversion, and high-density packaging and integration. He has accepted a position as a system engineer in Kilby Labs of Texas Instruments in Dallas, Texas.

Dongbin enjoys reading and basketball in his spare time.
