CPES congratulates graduate Syed Bari!

Syed received his B.S. and M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2004 and 2008. In August 2012 he joined the Center for Power Electronics Systems at Virginia Tech as a Graduate Research Assistant. Syed's research interests include control and modeling of DC-DC power converters. He has published seven papers and filed three patents on this field during his PhD work.
Syed is currently employed at Analog Devices as a IC Design Engineer. During his time at CPES, he chaired the Dialogue Session at the 2016 Annual Conference. Besides working in the lab, Syed likes to play soccer, go hiking and spend time with friends with his guitar.
