CPES congratulates our most recent graduate, Ting Ge!

Ting Ge completed his Ph.D. program in July 2018. His dissertation, "Resonant Cross-Commutated Dc-Dc Regulators with Omni-Coupled Inductors" and defense presentation are available online CPES Principal Plus, Principal, and Associate members via password access.

Ting received his Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China in 2012. He joined the Center for Power Electronics Systems at Virginia Tech as a graduate research assistant in 2013, and received his M.S. degree in 2017. His research interests include magnetic design and high-frequency dc-dc converter design. Upon graduation, Ting will join Monolithic Power Systems as a Senior Application Engineer.

Ting enjoys soccer, Chinese chess, and music in his spare time.
