2020 CPES & PEC Conferences - Postponed due to COVID-19

Dear CPES Members, Friends, and Colleagues,
We would like to let you know that all Virginia Tech-sponsored events with expected crowds larger than 100 people have been canceled through the end of April. This includes the 2020 CPES and PEC Conferences, originally scheduled for April 5-8.
After thoughtful deliberation, CPES and PEC leadership, the CPES Industry Advisory Board Executive Committee, and the Student Organizing Committee decided to postpone the conferences until Fall 2020. We sincerely hope the global COVID-19 health crisis will abate over the next 5+ months to again allow in-person attendance.
We are currently exploring the availability of the conference facilities (Inn at VT) and plan to announce the new dates soon. We intend to maintain a similar program - CPES-oriented programming Sunday and Monday; joint CPES-PEC topics on Tuesday; and PEC-themed programming on Wednesday.
Our thoughts continue to be with all of our members, friends, and colleagues and their families and communities around the world.
