Newest Principal Plus Member OPPO

CPES is pleased to welcome OPPO as a Principal Plus Member! OPPO is a consumer electronics and mobile communications company headquartered in Dongguan, Guangdong, China. OPPO was the top smartphone brand in China in 2019 and was ranked No. 5, in market share, worldwide. Additional major product lines include audio devices, Blu-ray players, and other electronic products.
OPPO will participate in the Power Management Consortium (PMC) mini-consortium where they will have access to all the benefits of CPES membership, in addition to collaboration with CPES researchers developing high-efficiency, high-power-density switch-mode power supplies based on recent developments in wide bandgap (WBG) power devices. The CPES mini-consortium program provides a unique forum for creating synergy among industries and defining new research directions to meet future industry needs. It allows CPES to pool resources and focus on developing pre-competitive technologies to address common challenges. Research results developed under the mini-consortium are shared among its members.
