Congratulations Qian Li, PhD!

CPES is proud to announce that Qian Li has earned a PhD after defending her dissertation titled, “Designing Power Converter-Based Energy Management Systems with Hierarchical Optimization Methods.” Qian conducted research with Dushan Boroyevich.
Qian’s research produced a novel, modular, and scalable hierarchical optimization architecture for the design of power converter-based energy management systems which offers a comprehensive approach to managing complex design variables and constraints, paving the way for more efficient, adaptable, and cost-effective power system designs.
Qian now works for CPES Industry Consortium Member, ABB in Dättwil, Switzerland as a scientist.
