CPES researchers win TPEL 2023 Prize Paper Awards

Two teams of CPES researchers have won prize paper awards, selected by the IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics (TPEL) editorial team.
The lead author of the first place article is Yuliang Cao. He’s joined by Professors Khai Ngo and Dong Dong for their article titled, “A Scalable Electronic-Embedded Transformer (EET), a New Concept toward Ultra-high-frequency High-power Transformer in DC-DC Converters”.
Ahmed Nabih is the lead author of “Characterization and Mitigation of Dimensional Effects on Core Loss in High-Power High-Frequency Converters”, which won second place. Feng Jin, Prof. Fred. C. Lee, Rimon Gadelrab, and Prof. Qiang Li are contributing authors.
