Congratulations Xin Lou, PhD!

Xin Lou earned his PhD after conducting research culminating in his dissertation, “48V/1V Voltage Regulator for High-Performance Microprocessors.”
Xin’s research innovated a single-stage 48V coupled-transformer voltage regulator (CTVR) tailored for high-performance microprocessors to deliver ultra-high power density and superior efficiency for data centers.
When asked about his education, Xin reflected, “Pursuing my PhD degree at CPES has been an unforgettable journey. Under the guidance of my advisors, Dr. Qiang Li and also Dr. Fred Lee, I've cultivated a great passion for challenges and the relentless pursuit of excellence. My heartfelt thanks go out to all the faculties, staff, and colleagues at CPES. It's truly an honor to be part of the CPES family.”
CPES was fortunate to have Xin’s contributions, not just in research but in other valuable ways as well. Xin served as an area leader where he engaged visitors about the research taking place in the lab. Even more significantly, Xin was the 2022 CPES Annual Conference Chair, where he faced the daunting feat of planning and implementing every aspect of CPES’ most important and largest event, and our first in-person, after the COVID pandemic. Under his leadership, the 2022 CPES Conference was a tremendous success!
CPES owes immense gratitude to Xin for his efforts in support of our center.
