As a new member of the Power Management Consortium (PMC), part of the CPES Industry Consortium, ROHM will collaborate on a portfolio of forward-looking projects: wide-bandgap (SiC/GaN) device design and reliability, high-frequency magnetic characterization, integrated VRM/PoL converters, ultra-efficient EV battery chargers, and power architectures for servers, data-centers, PV systems and charging stations. PMC also advances sophisticated modeling, digital-control algorithms and EMI-mitigation techniques.
Through the program, PMC participants leverage CPES expertise, facilities and funding in a shared forum that sets new research directions, speeds technology development, and distributes outcomes among members.
ROHM’s addition strengthens these industry-wide synergies, accelerating the creation of next-generation, high-power-density solutions that will shape the future of power management.
