Christina DiMarino is an assistant professor in the Bradley Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Virginia Tech. She has been the assistant director of the Center for Power Electronics Systems (CPES) since 2017. She received her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Virginia Tech in 2014 and 2018, respectively. She was a Webber Fellow from 2012 to 2015, and a Rolls-Royce Graduate Fellow from 2016 to 2017.

From 2015 to 2018, she was the student membership chair for the IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS). She is currently on the committees for the PELS Students and Young Professionals, IEEE International Technology Roadmap for Wide-Bandgap Power Semiconductors, and PELS Mentorship Program. She has received five best paper and presentation awards at international conferences.

Research Interests: Power electronics, electronics packaging, high density integration, wide-bandgap power semiconductors, high voltage, high temperature
