Congratulations Zichen Zhang, PhD!

Zichen Zhang has defended his thesis titled, "Field-Grading in Medium-Voltage Power Modules Using a Nonlinear Resistive Polymer Nanocomposite Coating." GQ Lu, professor in VT's Materials Science Engineering Department, served as Zichen's research advisor.
When asked about his experience at CPES, Zichen stated "I am profoundly grateful for the opportunity to engage with innovative and practical research topics in power electronics packaging at CPES and Virginia Tech. This distinctive experience has molded me into an engineer who is well-prepared to tackle any challenges that may arise in my future career."
Zichen has joined Microchip Technology as a Principal Engineer where he is responsible for SiC Module R&D.
