Congratulating CPES graduate - Shishuo Zhao

Shishuo received his B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Hebei University, Baoding, China in 2010 and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from North China Electric Power University, Beijing, China in 2013. He joined Virginia Tech in 2013 and received his M.S. degree from the Center for Power Electronics Systems in 2016.
His main research interests include high frequency medium voltage magnetic design, wide-band-gap semiconductor devices, high-frequency high power density power conversion, soft-switching technique, and future data center power architecture. Shishuo served as the Video Nugget Chair for the 2016 CPES Annual Conference.
Upon graduation, he will join Texas Instruments in Manchester, New Hampshire, as a System Engineer.
Shishuo Zhao enjoys swimming, tennis, golf after work.
