CPES congratulates graduate Jun Wang!

Jun received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Zhejiang University, China, in 2007 and 2010, respectively. From 2010 to 2012, he worked with GE Power Conversion working on the design, integration, and testing of medium-voltage, megawatt grid-interfaced converters and motor drives. He was enrolled at CPES in 2012 and received his Ph.D. in 2017. He is now a research assistant professor at CPES. His research interests include modeling, control, and design of Si- and SiC-based medium-voltage modular converters. In his spare time, he loves playing basketball, bodybuilding and watching sports games.
