CPES would like to announce that Vertiv has upgraded their membership to Principal Plus!
Feb 23, 2021
Vertiv, a member of CPES since 1999, recently upgraded their membership to the Principal Plus level and will participate in the Power Management Consortium (PMC) mini-consortium.
Vertiv solves the most important challenges facing today's data centers, communication networks and commercial and industrial facilities with a portfolio of power, cooling and IT infrastructure solutions and services that extends from the cloud to the edge of the network. Headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, USA, Vertiv employs approximately 20,000 people and does business in more than 130 countries.
The Principal Plus Membership in PMC features strong collaboration with CPES researchers developing high-efficiency, high-power-density switch-mode power supplies based on recent developments in wide bandgap (WBG) power devices.
The CPES Mini-consortium Program provides a unique forum for creating synergy among industries and defining new research directions to meet future industry needs. It allows CPES to pool resources and focus on developing pre-competitive technologies to address common challenges. Detailed information about the CPES mini-consortium program is found on the CPES website at the following link: https://cpes.vt.edu/industry/miniconsortiums.
