Founded as an outgrowth of CPES’s pioneering VRM effort launched in 1997 at Intel’s request, PMC advances precompetitive power management technologies across industries. Early CPES research produced the multi-phase voltage regulator architecture now used in virtually every microprocessor worldwide, generating over 30 U.S. patents. Today, PMC’s expanded scope spans wide-bandgap (SiC and GaN) devices, high-frequency power architectures, integrated magnetics, digital control, and EMI mitigation for applications including data centers, AI, automotive electronics, EV charging, renewable energy, and consumer electronics.
PMC Members can access presentation recordings and slides from past Reviews on the CPES website at this link.
