CPES Technical Updates - High-Frequency Power Electronics Components
Aug 13, 2020
On August 13th almost 70 industry members representing 26 companies joined the first-ever CPES Technical Updates. The event featured three presentations from graduate students on the topic of High-Frequency Power Electronics Components:
- Superjunction Power Transistors with Interface Charges: A Case Study for GaN
Yunwei Ma, Ming Xiao, Ruizhe Zhang, Han Wang, Yuhao Zhang - Reliability Evaluation of High-Speed 10 kV SiC MOSFET Power Modules
Jacob Gersh, Christina DiMarino, Paul Paret (NREL), Douglas Devoto (NREL) - Optimal Design of Planar Magnetic Components for a Two-Stage GaN-Based DC/DC Converter
Xingyu Chen, Shuo Wang, Minfan Fu, Chao Fei, Yuchen Yang, Qiang Li, Fred C. Lee
Individual Discussions, time for the audience to interact directly with the presenters, followed the presentations after both sessions.
This format will also be followed for the 2020 CPES & PEC Conferences taking place Aug 31st through Sep 4th.
All papers and recordings will be made available soon.
The next Technical Updates is scheduled for Aug 20th and will explore the topic Characterization, Packaging, and Application of High Voltage SiC MOSFET Power Semiconductors. For more information click here.
